Annual immersive rave with hardcore, bounce, psytrance and techno from 50+ artists across three rooms, with dancers, performers, stalls and lasers.
Antimatter returns to Beaver Works on Saturday 16 January 2027, the next annual instalment of what's billed as the North's most immersive rave. It's a joint production from Antimatter Events, Bonanza Raves and One Big Bash, taking over the warehouse space at 36 Whitehouse Street in Leeds.
The night is built as a full-scale fusion of sound, light and chaos spread across three high-energy rooms, with hardcore, bounce, hard house, psytrance, hard trance, techno and DnB on the go throughout. That's a wide spread of hard dance styles to cover in one night, and with three rooms to move between, you can drift from the faster, harder stuff to the more melodic or bass-heavy ends of the spectrum without having to leave the building. The production is rounded out with dancers, performers, stalls and state-of-the-art lasers, all running through the Funktion-One sound system that the venue is known for.
Fancy dress is welcomed, which fits the theme of the night: Superheroes vs Supervillains. If you're into the whole thing, it's a good excuse to lean into it, but it's not a requirement — you'll find plenty of people there in their normal gear alongside those who've gone all out. Between the three rooms, the dancers, and the lasers, it's a big, loud night that takes up a fair bit of the warehouse, so it's the kind of thing you want to arrive for early and stay for late.
