Student party night Antics with karaoke, arcade games and a social dance party, in its Haunted House edition at Home Nightclub Leeds.
Antics Haunted House takes over HOME Powered by UNI Homes on Wednesday 28 October, the Halloween edition of the weekly student night. It's a late one, running from 10:30pm until 4:00am at 117 Albion Street in the city centre.
If you've never been to an Antics night, it's not just a DJ set. The whole thing is spread across several rooms, and it's designed to be a full evening rather than just a few hours on the dancefloor. It starts with Antics Karaoke, which gets the night going, and from there you can drift through electronic darts, basketball machines, shuffleboard and arcade games. The main room downstairs is where the bulk of the night happens, described as Leeds' biggest social party, with live percussionists and saxophonists playing alongside student DJs spinning Big Room House. There's also an Urban Room for Hip Hop, RnB and Urban, so you can switch between the house and the urban sounds depending on your mood. The whole thing runs on a VOID sound system with a full light show.
Behind it all is Voodoo Events, the promoters who run the Antics series. They've built it as a weekly student social, and they even offer to hire staff so you can earn a bit of money while you're out. The Haunted House edition is the Halloween special of that regular run, powered by UniHomes.

It's a long night, starting at 10:30pm and going until 4:00am, so you've got plenty of time to work your way through the karaoke, the games and the different rooms. Tickets are £5 to £8.50.
