Free over-18s stand-up night hosted by Antony Vila at The Northern Market, a food market and beer hall in Leeds city centre.
All Jokes Aside are back at The Northern Market on Thursday 11 March, their free comedy night returning to the city centre for another run. It's a stand-up showcase that pulls in performers from across the regions, so you'll get a fair mix of voices on one bill rather than just the local circuit. The comedians bring material they've been working on for a while, and there's a good chance of catching someone on their way up before they're playing the bigger rooms.
Antony Vila hosts the stand-up, and he doesn't just introduce the acts. He builds material live with the audience throughout the night, which means no two shows ever end up the same. The whole thing runs for about two and a half hours, so it's a proper evening of comedy rather than a quick set. It's for over-18s.
The night is held at The Northern Market, a food market and beer hall in the heart of the city centre. There's a fully stocked bar pouring Northern Monk beers, and some of Leeds' tastiest food vendors are on site, so you can eat and drink while you watch. It's a good spot if you want to make a full night of it rather than just popping in for a quick drink.

Doors open at 7:25 PM, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. Entry is free, though it's a pay-what-you-wish setup, so you can chip in what you feel the night is worth. The Northern Market is at The Event Space, 12 Great George Street, Leeds, LS1 3ED.
