After Dark Thursdays @ MINT XL

After Dark Thursdays are back at Mint XL on Thursday 3 December, running from 11:00pm to 4:00am with last entry at 01:00. It's billed as Leeds' newest and hottest nightclub and the city's biggest Thursday night, and it's built around three distinct rooms, so you can drift between them depending on what you're in the mood for.

The Ball Room is for house, disco and dance anthems, while the Club Room handles the classics, 2000s throwbacks and singalongs. The third, The Cage, is a bit different: the crowd votes each week on the music policy, so that one changes from night to night. Between the three, you've got a fair bit of ground covered under one roof.

Production is pitched at festival level, with immersive lighting and lasers, and the venue has one of the biggest smoking terraces in Leeds, alongside student-friendly drink prices. The club arrived in the city after a string of sell-out nights in Manchester, and previous guests have included Josh Baker, Prospa, Bullet Tooth, Paige Thomlinson and Dnxby.

Entry is restricted to over-18s under a challenge 25 policy, so keep your ID handy. Tickets are £2-£8, and the night runs from 11:00pm to 4:00am, with last entry at 01:00. You'll find Mint XL in the Merrion Shopping Centre, 16-18 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 8LX.
