Jazz guitar night at The Domino Club on Grand Arcade, with all proceeds going to the musicians on a pay-as-you-feel basis.
The Jeff Hewer Quartet play The Domino Club on Thursday 29 October, part of the A Love Supreme: The Jazz Guitarists series. It's a jazz guitar night, with Hewer's quartet taking the main slot.
The Domino Club is a basement venue in a Grade II listed building on Grand Arcade, right in the centre of Leeds. It runs live music from Wednesday to Sunday, leaning towards funk, soul, blues and jazz, with special events on Tuesdays and a jazz jam on the first Sunday of each month. It's a standing room venue with a small number of bookable tables and a bar serving cocktails. On regular Friday and Saturday nights there's a £9 door charge, but the rest of the week it works on a pay-as-you-feel basis, with all the proceeds going to the musicians. The club is strictly 18+ and has no accessible entrance because it's in a basement.

The night starts at 19:00, and since it's a Thursday, it falls under that pay-as-you-feel arrangement, so whatever you put in goes straight to the musicians. If you're planning to come, just keep in mind the 18+ policy and the lack of accessible entry.
