Family-friendly daytime Halloween celebration with a trick-or-treat trail, hay bale maze, costume contest, kids' crafts, and seasonal treats at Worlds of Fun.
Tricks and Treats is back at Worlds of Fun on Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 through November 1, 2026. It's the park's family-friendly daytime Halloween celebration, so it runs before the sun sets and makes way for the more heart-pounding scares that take over after dark. If you've got kids in tow, this is the one to hit.
There's a trick-or-treat trail to walk and a kid-sized hay bale maze with a mini pumpkin to find inside. The crafts table lets kids make their own Halloween masks, and Count Snooptacula hosts a costume contest. For entertainment, the singing, swinging Spectral Sisters perform, and there are midway games to play. This year adds the Boneyard Bash Dance Party to the mix.
Between the activities, the park serves up seasonal menu items like a Murder Mystery Shake and a Swamp Monster Burger. It's all designed for the daytime crowd, so you can get the Halloween spirit without the late-night frights. Just keep in mind that on Halloween Haunt dates, Planet Snoopy closes at 5 PM and there's no re-entry after 6 PM.
