Swope Ridge Scholars Book Group

Swope Ridge Scholars Book Group meets at Swope Ridge Gardens Apartments on Wednesday, October 21, from 1 PM to 2 PM. It's a book group run by the library, and the whole point of it is that they bring the books to you rather than having everyone head to a library branch. The meeting happens right there at the apartments, so you don't have to leave your own neighborhood to get in on the conversation.

That's the real draw here: the library comes to the readers. Instead of you making the trip to a branch, the group gathers at the Swope Ridge Gardens Apartments, which keeps the whole thing local and easy. If you've been wanting to get into a book group but the commute to a library felt like too much of a hurdle, this is exactly the kind of thing that takes that out of the equation.

Attendance is by RSVP, so you'll want to let them know you're coming ahead of time. If you need ADA accommodations, they've got you covered—just put in your request at least three business days before the meeting. It runs from 1 PM to 2 PM on Wednesday, October 21, at the Swope Ridge Gardens Apartments.
