Skillet headlines a rock concert with support from Escape the Fate and Autumn Kings at The Midland Theatre.
Skillet are playing The Midland Theatre on Tuesday, October 20, with Escape The Fate and Autumn Kings on the bill. It's a three-band night, so you'll get a full run of sets rather than just one act. The show starts at 7 PM at 1228 Main St in Kansas City.
Autumn Kings are the ones you might not know yet. They're a Canadian rock/pop band from Windsor, Ontario, started back in 2015 by a group of teenagers. Since then, they've put out 'Devil in Disguise', which got the Detroit Red Wings' endorsement, and they've seen regular rotation on FM radio stations around the world, with 89X Windsor/Detroit being one of them. They've hit 4 million streams on Spotify and have played support slots for acts like Sublime with Rome, Pop Evil, Tea Party, Mutemath and Sloan.
The band is a three-piece: Joseph Coccimiglio on lead vocals, Jake Diab on guitar and vocals, and Tris Dawdy on drums. That's the whole lineup on stage, so there's not much hiding behind the sound—just the three of them. They're coming in from Canada to open for Escape The Fate and Skillet, who'll follow them on the same bill.
