Stand-up comedy show featuring Sam Tallent, a comedian and novelist from Denver, known for his surreal style and comedy writing.
Sam Tallent plays The Comedy Club of Kansas City on Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17. He's a comedian and novelist from Denver, and the Denver Post once called him "the absurd voice of a surreal generation."
Tallent has been on the road for over a decade, playing more than 45 weekends a year across North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe. He's written for Birdy Magazine and VICE.com, and his jokes have aired on Comedy Central, TruTV, and VICELAND. When he's not touring, he hosts the Chubby Behemoth Podcast and lives in Colorado, where he cooks dinner for his wife every night.
He's as much a writer as he is a comic. His debut novel, Running the Light, has been called the definitive book on stand-up comedy and is soon to be a major motion picture. His novella ATTABOY came out as an Audible Original, and his comedy special Waiting For Death to Claim Us is on Amazon Prime. If you've never seen him live, those are a good place to start.
