Panel discussion on the general election with political journalists and legal experts, hosted by KCUR and the League of Women Voters.
Politics & Pints returns to Casual Animal Brewing on Tuesday, October 27, for a panel discussion on the upcoming general election. It's a session that brings together KCUR reporters, election experts, and the League of Women Voters to talk through what's on the ballot and how the race is shaping up.
The night is presented by Gen Listen, the youth-oriented arm of KCUR 89.3. If you haven't come across them before, Gen Listen is run by a group of young public radio listeners who put on regular events around town—trivia nights, podcast parties, concerts, happy hours, and political debates—with the idea of connecting listeners with like-minded people and the local community. This particular session is one of those debates, focused on the general election.
On the panel, you'll find KCUR reporters who've been following the stories, election experts who can break down the numbers and the law, and representatives from the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan organization that's spent decades helping voters get the information they need. Having all three in the same room means you'll hear the reporting, the expert analysis, and the practical, voter-focused side of things at once, rather than having to piece it together from separate sources.
