New Year's Eve celebration with 13 bars and nightclubs, live entertainment, laser light shows, and the midnight ball drop and fireworks.
NYE Live! takes over the KC Live! Block in the Power & Light District on December 31, 2026, starting at 7 PM. It's billed as the biggest New Year's Eve celebration in the Midwest, and the scale is the whole point: twelve venues all connected for one night, so you can move between them without leaving the block.
The night is built around a Times Square-style ball drop at midnight, a fireworks show, and the Midnight Countdown presented by Miller Lite. Once the clock hits twelve, a laser light show follows, and more than 100 pounds of confetti rain down over the crowd. Throughout the night, DJs and entertainment are running in every venue, so there's music going long before the countdown and well after it.

Tickets come in three levels, and if you go with Gold or Platinum, you get a free Miller Lite and access to an exclusive Miller Lite photo experience. The whole thing kicks off at 7 PM at the KC Live! Block in the Power & Light District, with the ball drop and fireworks at midnight.
