A family-friendly outdoor movie screening of The Sixth Sense, part of a Halloween-inspired series at Berkley Riverfront Park.
Movies in the Park returns to Berkley Riverfront Park on Tuesday, October 13, with The Sixth Sense on the big screen. It's part of a four-night series of Halloween-inspired classics that Port KC has been running on Tuesday evenings along the Missouri River, with the Kansas City skyline as the backdrop.
If you've been following along, The Sixth Sense is the third film in the lineup. The series kicked off with E.T. on September 29, followed by Practical Magic on October 6. After this, there's one more to go: The Nightmare Before Christmas on October 20. Each night brings a different movie, so if you missed the first two, this is a good chance to jump in.
The setting is Berkley Riverfront Park, a 17-acre green space along the river with a scenic esplanade. It's an open-air community event, so you'll want to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs to settle in for the movie. Outside food and drink are welcome, and parking is free.
