High-intensity interval training session led by Rashouna as part of the NickiFit series at the Lucile H. Bluford Branch, for adults 18 and over.
Rashouna leads another HIIT session at the Lucile H. Bluford Branch on Tuesday, December 29, at 6 PM. It's part of the library's NickiFit series, which brings fitness classes to the branch for adults 18 and older. If you've been looking for a way to get more training volume into your week and reshape your body with strength exercises, this is exactly the kind of thing that fits that bill.
Rashouna's HIIT—high-intensity interval training—is one of a few different styles the library offers under the NickiFit umbrella. The other regular is MixxedFit, a people-inspired dance fitness program that pairs explosive dance movements with body-weight toning. That one is led by a certified MixxedFit instructor and set to music that jumps across genres—Top 40, hip-hop, reggae, and rock—so if you're more of a dancer than a strength-trainer, you can swap between the two depending on what you're in the mood for.

Both classes are open to adults 18 and over, and they both run out of the Lucile H. Bluford Branch. Between the two, you can lean into the strength work of HIIT or the dance-focused toning of MixxedFit, and since they're part of the same series, you can easily mix them up. Rashouna's session is on Tuesday, December 29, at 6 PM.
