Gary Owen: No Hard Feelings Tour

Gary Owen brings his stand-up to The Midland Theatre on Friday, December 4, as part of his No Hard Feelings tour. He's been working a room for more than two decades now, and his set is built on observational humor and storytelling that pulls from his own life, his time in the military, and the kind of everyday absurdities that land regardless of where you're from.

If you've only known him from the screen, there's a fair amount of ground to cover. He's appeared in Ride Along with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, Think Like a Man and its sequel, Little Man opposite the Wayans Brothers, Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy, and College, where he played Bearcat. On television, he starred in his own BET series, The Gary Owen Show, co-hosted TruTV's Upload with Shaquille O'Neal, and played Zach the barber on TBS's Tyler Perry's House of Payne.

He also writes and produces his own comedy specials, so he's used to carrying a whole show on his own. The list is long: Black Famous, #DOIN' What I Do, I Got My Associates, I Agree With Myself, True Story, Urban Legend, Broken Family, and Gary Owen...No S. He also hosts the podcast #Getsome with Gary Owen.

The show is presented by Icon Concerts and is for ages 12 and over. It starts at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7 PM, at The Midland Theatre, 1228 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64105.
