Elias Alexander blends traditional Celtic sounds with EDM, live looping, and driving beats to celebrate Samhain.
Elias Alexander plays the Kansas City Irish Center on Friday, October 16, with doors opening at 7 PM and the performance starting at 8 PM. The show is framed as a celebration of Samhain, the spookiest season of the year, so it's a good one to catch right as the October chill sets in.
Alexander is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer from Portland, Oregon, who blends traditional Celtic sounds with EDM through live looping and driving beats. He studied bagpipes, fiddle, whistles, and guitar from a young age and has drawn on that background since emerging in 2022. Since then, he's built more than 115,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok and played 29 festivals in 2025, so he's coming to Kansas City with a fair bit of momentum behind him.
The venue is the Kansas City Irish Center, at 19 W. Linwood Boulevard, the hub of Irish activities in the city. It's dedicated to celebrating, supporting, preserving, and promoting Irish heritage and culture through Irish dance, music, and conversation classes, céilí nights, a monthly 'Sláinte Social' with board members and staff, and an annual Irish Gala. Alexander's set fits right into that mix, taking traditional Celtic sounds and running them through a modern, electronic filter.
