Interactive all-request dueling piano entertainment with sing-alongs and dance-offs at Hammers, a 21+ venue.
Dueling Pianos is on at Hammers Dueling Piano Bar tonight, Friday, October 9, and it's one of the things they do every weekend. If you've never been, it's not a concert in the usual sense: there's no setlist, and the two pianists on stage don't decide what they're playing. They take requests from the crowd all night, so the audience picks every song. It's built around sing-alongs, banter, and dance-offs, with the two of them battling it out on stage while the room decides the direction of the night. The whole thing is strictly 21+.
Hammers is in Midtown at 3901 Main St., and they keep the dueling pianos going every Friday and Saturday night, starting at 8:30 PM with doors opening at 7:00 PM. If you can't make it over the weekend, they also do a session on the second Sunday of the month at 6:00 PM. Parking is free.

And the dueling pianos aren't the only thing they've got running out of that room. Hammers fills the rest of the week with its own lineup: karaoke with DJ Rosie-J on Mondays, TNT Trivia and stand-up comedy from The Comedy Vault on Tuesdays, and alternating R&B Music Bingo and Scrap Paper on Wednesdays. So if the pianos aren't your thing, there's plenty else to hit throughout the week. But for tonight, it's the two pianos taking requests and the crowd calling the shots.
