A jazz and hip-hop concert featuring producer Rhett Whatley (Daily Bread) alongside Vincent Antone and Motifv at The Midland Theatre.
Daily Bread plays The Midland Theatre on Friday, November 13, with Vincent Antone and Motifv opening. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
Daily Bread is the project of Atlanta producer Rhett Whatley. He started with jazz guitar, crate-digging, and early beat experiments in his bedroom studio, and his music sits at the intersection of vintage soul, gritty hip-hop, and bass-forward production. He first broke through with On The Daily, then followed it with 2023's Invisible Cinema. In June 2024, he released the Flash Flood II mixtape, which has since racked up over 7.5 million listens on SoundCloud.
He's been playing live quite a bit lately. He played a sold-out Red Rocks show in October 2024 and kept that momentum going into 2025 with a 27-date North American Flash Flood Tour, which included two nights at Red Rocks. This Kansas City date puts him on the same bill as Vincent Antone and Motifv, so you'll get three acts in one night.

One detail worth mentioning: he's partnered with PLUS1, so $1 from every ticket goes to organizations working for equity, access, and dignity. And a practical heads-up before you head out—The Midland is a cashless venue, so they only take debit or credit cards at the box office window and the bars. Doors are at 7:30 PM.
