Indie rock and folk musician Jordan Caiola performs live at recordBar in Kansas City.
Caiola plays recordBar on Thursday, March 11, 2027. The show is presented by the venue, with doors opening at 7 PM and the set starting at 8 PM.
Caiola is the solo project of Jordan Caiola, a Philadelphia songwriter, musician, and producer. He's been active in a few different directions: he founded the indie rock band Mo Lowda & The Humble back in 2010, and in 2016 he started NightSeason, an indie/electro-pop production duo. He's always felt that writing folk songs was his true wheelhouse, but it took the nationwide lockdown of early 2020 to give him the time to actually record a collection of them. That became his first solo album, Only Real When Shared, followed by the more mature and textural This Could Be Everything in August 2024. He tours year-round with both Mo Lowda and his solo work.
This show comes on the heels of his third album, For Times of Chaos, which arrived in August 2026. He describes it as his most stripped-down and minimal work yet, so it's the record that will likely be front and center here. Between that and the earlier solo albums, there's plenty of material to pull from for a single night.
