Ari Matti

Ari Matti brings his stand-up to The Midland Theatre on Saturday, December 5, at 7 PM. He's an Estonian-born comedian known for a bold, high-energy style and sharp observational humor, with a stage presence that blends his Eastern European roots with a good deal of global experience. He's been touring for more than 12 years, playing the United States, the UK, Europe, Canada, Asia and Australia, including a successful year in Vancouver.

In Estonia, he made comedy history with his 2021 tour, which sold more than 20,000 tickets. These days he's a regular on Kill Tony, the world's number one live podcast at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership, and he played Kill Tony Live at Madison Square Garden in 2024 and 2025. If you've followed the show, you know the format: comedians get a few minutes on stage and then face a barrage of questions from the hosts and the crowd. It's a high-pressure environment that rewards quick thinking and a thick skin, and Matti's regular appearances there give you a sense of how he handles a room.

That background informs a lot of what he brings to a solo set. The high energy and observational edge he's built over a decade of touring across several continents come together in one night. The Midland Theatre is a cashless venue, so tickets are by debit or credit card only. The show starts at 7 PM on Saturday, December 5.
