Stage production of Dan Brown's thriller in which Professor Robert Langdon races across Europe to solve a murder and decipher a code that could change history.
The Da Vinci Code is playing at the Indiana Repertory Theatre through Sunday, October 18, at the OneAmerica Financial Stage. It's a stage adaptation of Dan Brown's international best-selling thriller, and it's been running since September 23, so you've still got a few weekends left to catch it before it closes.
The story follows Professor Robert Langdon, who's brought to the Louvre in the middle of the night to help solve a brutal murder. Things take a turn when he's identified as the prime suspect, and from there he's racing across Europe to decipher a labyrinthine code that would clear his name and reveal a secret that could change history. If you've read the book, you know the drill: a high-stakes chase through art history and old secrets, now brought to the stage.
Behind the production, Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel adapted the novel for the theater, and Benjamin Hanna is directing. The show is presented by Printing Partners and is a co-production with Cleveland Play House, so it's a joint effort between two cities. It's playing at the OneAmerica Financial Stage, one of the main spaces at the IRT.
