Storytime session for babies up to 24 months and a caregiver at the Glendale Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library.
Storytime at Glendale - Babies is on Thursday, December 10, at the Glendale Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library. It's part of the library's Story Time series, and this particular session is aimed at babies up to 24 months and an adult. The reading is just the first half: playtime and special toys follow, so it's a full morning rather than a quick stop.
If you're new to this branch, it's worth knowing where it sits. The Glendale Branch serves the Broad Ripple community, which has had library service across several sites since 1930. The first stand-alone library opened in 1949, and a larger branch followed in Broad Ripple Park in 1986. The original Glendale Branch opened in 2000 inside Glendale Mall, making it the country's first full-service library located in a major shopping mall. In 2024, a new 24,800-square-foot branch opened on the site of the former John Strange Elementary School, which is where you'll find this session.
