Storytime session for babies and toddlers up to 24 months with an adult at the Glendale Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library.
Storytime at Glendale - Babies is on Tuesday, December 8, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glendale Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library. It's part of the library's Story Time programming, and this particular session is for babies and toddlers up to 24 months, with an adult. If you've got a little one in that range, it's a good way to get them around books and other kids while you're out and about.
The Glendale Branch has a bit of a story itself. It serves the Broad Ripple community, which has had library service at various sites since 1930, with a stand-alone branch opening in 1949. For a while, the branch was inside Glendale Mall—it was actually the country's first full-service library located in a major shopping mall. In 2024, it moved to a new 24,800-square-foot building on the site of the former John Strange Elementary School, so if you haven't been in a while, you'll be heading to a different spot than the one in the mall.

Since this is for the youngest crowd, the whole thing is built around babies and toddlers up to 24 months, and you'll need to bring your little one along with an adult. It's one of several Story Time events the library runs, so it's part of a larger program rather than a one-off. The session runs from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 8, at the Glendale Branch, 3660 East 62nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
