Live show by Michigander, the alternative rock and electronic project of Jason Singer, with Wildermiss at HI-FI Indy.
Michigander plays HI-FI on Wednesday, November 18, with Wildermiss opening. The show starts at 8 PM at 1043 Virginia Ave.
Michigander is the sonic alter ego of Jason Singer, a singer, producer, and guitarist from Midland, Michigan, who brought the persona to life in 2014 while moving to Kalamazoo. The project is built around hook-driven melodies and earnest storytelling that blends alternative rock with electronic touches, and it has gathered more than 10 million streams along with acclaim from NPR, Paste, NME, and SPIN.
Singer has shared the stage with Ra Ra Ra Riot, Tokyo Police Club, Twin Peaks, and Mt Joy, and has played festivals alongside alt-j, Solange, Foster The People, and Run The Jewels. Signed to C3 Records, he released the EP Where Do We Go From Here and later expanded his sound with singles like "Misery" and "Poplar."
