Two performances of the Indianapolis Children's Choir's season finale, with hundreds of singers across the afternoon and evening shows.
The Indianapolis Children's Choir closes out its 41st season with Impact, a double-bill concert at the Scottish Rite Cathedral on Sunday, May 16, 2027. It's the finale of their 2026-27 season, and the two performances bring hundreds of singers onto the stage over the course of the day. The choir describes the program as a way to showcase the growth of the singers and their leadership, both on stage and off.
The afternoon show starts at 3 PM and features the younger and developing ensembles: Jubilate, the Neighborhood Choir Academy, Foundations, the Preparatory Choirs, the Beginning Level Choirs, and the Lyric Choirs. If you've got kids in the program, this is the one to catch. The evening show follows at 7 PM with the more advanced groups: Indy Voice and the Master Chorale, joined by the Columbus Indiana Children's Choir and the Anderson Area Children's Choir & Youth Chorale. Between the two, you'll hear a huge range of the choir's different levels, from the newest singers to the most experienced.

Because the two shows feature entirely different groups, you'll need to pick your time based on who you're coming to see. The 3 PM slot is the younger half, and the 7 PM slot brings in the older choirs and the guest ensembles from Columbus and Anderson. Both take place at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 650 N Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
