Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is bringing Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn to its stage in Indianapolis, opening November 27, 2026, and running through January 3, 2027. It's a musical that's new to the Beef & Boards stage, presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

If you've never been, Beef & Boards has been pairing live entertainment with dinner since 1973. It's located in College Park and draws more than 150,000 theatergoers a year. The name comes from its signature hand-carved slow-roasted beef served before the show and from the boards of the stage itself. Now in its 53rd season, the theater stages eight mainstage productions each year, mixing Broadway hits, comedy, and holiday tradition, and it's a member of Actors' Equity Association.

The dinner is a central part of the experience: a fresh on-site buffet prepared by the executive chef, with a full-service bar and gourmet desserts. The buffet opens two hours before the show and closes half an hour before it begins, so you've got plenty of time to eat and settle in before the curtain goes up.

There are a few different ways to catch it. Evening performances run Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (with select Wednesdays), with doors and the buffet opening at 5:30 PM, the buffet closing at 7:30 PM, and the show starting at 7:30 PM. Sunday early evening performances start at 7 PM. Matinees run Wednesday and Sunday (with select Thursdays and Saturdays), with doors and the buffet opening at 10:30 AM, the buffet closing at 12:30 PM, and the show starting at 1 PM.
