90-minute guided golf cart tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway grounds, visiting major landmarks and, when possible, a lap of the oval.
Golf Cart Tours are running at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum through October, with tours departing from inside the Speedway grounds. It's the museum's most in-depth look at the grounds, a 90-minute experience built around one-on-one conversation with their most knowledgeable guides. You'll see the Pagoda, Gasoline Alley, the Victory Podium, and the Snake Pit, and the tour opens up restricted backstage areas you won't get into on your own.
On days when the track isn't in use, the route adds a lap of the legendary 2.5-mile oval, with a stop at the start/finish line to kiss the bricks. But keep in mind that the Speedway remains an active race track, so oval access is never guaranteed. The tour is restricted to visitors aged 12 and over.
