Morning walking event held at Bovaconti Coffee on Virginia Avenue as part of Walktober.
Fountain Fletcher is the next stop in the Walktober series, a guided walk through the Fountain Fletcher neighborhood on Saturday, October 17. It kicks off at Bovaconti Coffee, 1042 Virginia Avenue, in the heart of Indianapolis.
If you're not familiar with Walktober, the idea is pretty straightforward: a series of neighborhood walks throughout October that get you out on foot and into different corners of the city. This one focuses on Fountain Fletcher, one of Indy's oldest residential areas, known for its historic homes and quiet, tree-lined streets. It's a good way to see the neighborhood at a slower pace than you'd get driving through.
The walk starts at Bovaconti Coffee, so you can grab a drink before heading out. From there, the group sets off to explore the area. It's a morning thing, running from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, which keeps it to a manageable ninety minutesโlong enough to get a real sense of the neighborhood without taking up your whole day.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Indianapolis and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

General admission starts at $18, and kids go free, so it works as a family outing as much as a solo stroll. If you're planning to join, just keep in mind the 10 AM start at Bovaconti Coffee on Virginia Avenue.
