Trivia night for women in the beverage and food industry with specials from local distilleries and breweries.
Women In Industry returns to Dan Electro's on Monday, October 19, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's a trivia night for women working in the beverage and food industry, and it's held every third Monday of the month, so if you miss this one, there's another coming around in November.
The night is built around the women shaping Houston's culinary scene. You'll find them gathered here to talk shop and compete in trivia, with specialty drinks from Beyond Distilling Company and Great H rounding out the networking. It's a chance to connect with people from across the city's food and drink world on a Monday night.
Dan Electro's has been a Houston neighborhood stage since 1988, when a Heights bungalow was turned into what became one of the city's most storied listening rooms. Its history is packed with local and visiting legends: Greg Allman traded licks there, Billy Gibbons slipped in unannounced, Stevie Ray Vaughan scorched the fretboard, and even Richard Gere grabbed a mic. The venue continues to position itself as an incubator for live music, booking a robust mix of Texas country, rock, blues, jazz, and indie, and offering shows with no cover to help grow the local scene.
