Outdoor screening of the comedy film White Chicks at the Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown, with a full bar and lawn games.
White Chicks is playing at Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown on Monday, October 5, 2026. The screening starts at 6:30 PM, with doors opening an hour earlier at 5:30 PM. If you're coming from across town, that extra hour gives you plenty of time to get settled before the movie kicks off.
For those who haven't been, Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown is an open-air, two-screen cinema on the fifth-floor terrace of BLVD Place in the Uptown/Galleria district. The screens face each other, with the Williams Tower lit up behind them and the city skyline stretching out beyond. You watch from the venue's signature Adirondack chairs or Loveseats, and everyone wears personal wireless headphones, so you're not competing with the wind or the city noise. There's a full bar serving craft cocktails, Texas beer and wine, and lawn games on the terrace if you want to hang out before the film.
The rooftop runs a year-round program that mixes first-run releases, cult classics, drag nights, queer cinema, Spanish-language features, Black cinema series and family matinées. It also doubles as a private venue for premieres, brand launches, company nights and weddings. Evening screenings are 16+ for cinema admission and 21+ for the bar, and there's complimentary self-parking in the BLVD Place garage.
