Weezer performs on The Gathering Tour, supported by The Shins and Silversun Pickups, at the Toyota Center.
Weezer are playing the Toyota Center on Friday, October 16, as part of The Gathering tour. It's their Houston date on a run of shows in support of Weezer (The Gold Album), so the set will center on the new record. They're not coming alone, either: The Shins and Silversun Pickups are both on the bill, and they'll be opening for them.
If you've been following the band's latest, The Gold Album is the record they're touring. The Gathering tour is the run they've put together around it, and this Houston stop is one of the dates. Between the headliner and the two openers, there are three bands on the bill, so it's a full night of music rather than a single act.

The Shins and Silversun Pickups are the ones opening, and they'll both play before Weezer takes the stage. That puts three bands on the bill for the evening, with Weezer as the main feature. The show is at the Toyota Center, and it starts at 7 PM.
