USPA Keleen & Carlton Beal Cup

The Houston Polo Club hosts the USPA Keleen & Carlton Beal Cup on Sunday, October 25, starting at 4 PM. Presented by The Fitzpatrick Group, it's one of the club's championship matches, sitting alongside the Texas Open and the Farm Family Insurance Cup. If you've never been to a polo match, this is a good one to start with because it follows the club's full set of traditions rather than just the game itself.

Before the match kicks off, there's a player parade, and throughout the afternoon, you'll have expert match commentary to help you keep track of what's happening on the field. Live music runs alongside the action, and at halftime, there's a champagne divot stomp—the tradition where spectators head onto the field to stomp the displaced turf back into place. Once the match wraps, a trophy presentation honors the day's champions.

For members, the experience is centered at The Houston Club on the 49th floor, with members seated in The Houston Club Box. You'll need to complete a ticket request form to get your tickets. Complimentary parking is available onsite, with golf cart transportation to take you from your car to the Club Box. On-site dining and a bar are available at The Lymbar, and the dress code is smart casual. The match starts at 4 PM on Sunday, October 25.
