Big 12 college football matchup between the Houston Cougars and Oklahoma State at TDECU Stadium.
University of Houston takes on Oklahoma State at TDECU Stadium on Saturday, October 17, at 7 PM. It's a Big 12 matchup that brings the Cowboys into town to face the Cougars on their home turf, and since it's a Saturday night game, it's one of those dates that can pull in a decent crowd.
Beyond the game itself, the night is tied to Hispanic Heritage & Family Day, so it's a bit more than just a football game. The promotion runs alongside the matchup, adding a family-oriented layer to the evening. If you're bringing kids or a larger group, that's a good thing to keep in mind before you head over.
For those who don't know the spot, TDECU Stadium is the home of Houston Cougars football, so the Cougars have the home-field advantage here. It's located right in Houston, and the 7 PM kickoff means you'll be watching under the lights rather than in the afternoon sun.
