An adult Halloween bar crawl in Midtown where participants pre-purchase a wristband to access free entry and drink specials at multiple venues, with costumes encouraged.
Trick or Drink is back in Midtown this October, with three separate nights to choose from. It's run by Barcrawlerz, and they pitch it as an adult twist on trick-or-treating: you pre-purchase a wristband, pick it up at the check-in bar, and then wander from one venue to the next with no cover and drink specials at every stop. Costumes are strongly encouraged, so it's one of those nights where you can actually lean into the holiday without needing a full party to go to.
The crawl runs across three dates. The first is Saturday, October 24, from 4 PM to 2 AM, with registration open from 4 PM to 10 PM. Then there's Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 2 AM, with registration from 6 PM to 11 PM. The final night is Saturday, October 31, from 4 PM to 2 AM, registration from 4 PM to 10 PM. Since it's spread over three nights, you can pick the one that fits your schedule bestโor do more than one if you're that committed.
Registration and check-in happen at Leon's Lounge, 1006 McGowen St, in Midtown. From there, the crawl hits a whole stretch of the neighborhood: Casa Verde, Koe Wetzel's, Playground HTX, Pour Behavior, Shot Bar, Social Beer Garden, and Two Headed Dog. Koe Wetzel's serves as the official after party, so that's where things wrap up. It's billed as a haunted pub walking tour, one of the city's adult-oriented Halloween options alongside the usual ghost hunts and horror shows.

Wristbands are $15 per night. Once you've checked in at Leon's Lounge, you're set for the rest of the eveningโno cover at the participating bars and drink specials at every stop along the way. If you're planning to go, just keep in mind that registration closes a few hours before the bars do, so don't wait until the middle of the night to show up.
