Country music singer Tracy Lawrence performs live at the Cowboys Red River Dancehall and Saloon in Houston.
Tracy Lawrence plays the Cowboys Red River Dancehall and Saloon on Saturday, November 21, starting at 7 PM. It's a solo bill, so he's the only name on the marquee for the night.
If you've heard of him but can't quite place the sound, Lawrence is one of the most recognizable voices in country musicβa rock-tinged honky tonk and neo-traditional singer who first stepped out with Sticks and Stones in 1991. Since then, he's put 40 singles on the Billboard Country charts, including the number ones "Can't Break It to My Heart" and "Texas Tornado." His double-platinum hits "Alibis" (1993) and "Time Marches On" (1996) are still regularly covered live by artists like Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
Over two decades, he's placed twenty-two songs in the Billboard top ten, scored eighteen number-one singles, and sold more than thirteen million albums. He's a multi-platinum CMA and ACM award winner who recently celebrated twenty years in music. His most recent studio album, Headlights, Taillights And Radios, came out in August 2013, his first in five years.
