Open-air screening of the 1991 psychological thriller The Silence of the Lambs at the Rooftop Cinema Club in Uptown Houston, with drinks and lawn games before the film.
The Silence of the Lambs is playing at Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown Houston on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:45 PM. It's an open-air screening on the fifth-level terrace of BLVD Place in the Uptown/Galleria district, with the Williams Tower lit up behind the screens. The venue runs two screens at once, so you'll be watching alongside another feature playing at the same time.
Instead of theater seats, you sit in Adirondack chairs or Loveseats and wear wireless headphones pre-tuned to the movie. Doors open up to an hour before the screening, and that hour is part of the night: there's a craft bar, lawn games, and a Texas sunset dropping behind the Uptown skyline. The cinema runs year-round, programming first-run releases alongside cult classics, drag nights, queer cinema, Spanish-language features, Black cinema series, and family matinées. It also doubles as a private rooftop for premieres, brand launches, and weddings.
