An immersive courtroom production where the audience serves as the jury, hearing witness testimonies and examining evidence to decide guilt or innocence in the case 'The Deadly Boat Ride'.
The Jury Experience is running at the Bayou Theatre through February 20, 2027, and it's not your typical night at the theater. Fever presents it as an immersive courtroom case where you aren't just watching the action—you're the jury. You sit in the jury box, hear witness testimonies, examine evidence, and vote at key moments. Your decisions open hidden angles in the case, so no two shows turn out exactly the same. If you've ever spent a movie second-guessing the verdict, this is your chance to actually make it.
The current case, The Deadly Boat Ride, centers on a summer night when the son of a powerful politician took the wheel of the family speedboat with an ex-lover and an old friend on board. By the time they docked, one person was dead and another was in a coma, and the son was facing a murder charge. A host of performers stages the production, and it doesn't shy away from the messy stuff—domestic violence, emotional manipulation, and alcohol use all come into play. It's the kind of morally complex case that asks you to challenge your own preconceptions as you weigh the evidence.
