Afternoon reggae session featuring DJ Don Rasta and the tribute band Úcar Latin Reggae, presented by Sunami Force.
Don Rasta plays Dan Electro's on Sunday, October 18, in an afternoon of reggae presented by Sunami Force and the venue. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring the kids along.
Don Rasta is performing with a full band: Susie Flyhigh on bass and vocals, Alexander Leslie on keyboards, and Arnaldo Rivera on drums. They're preceded by Úcar Latin Reggae, who open the afternoon with a set of reggae en español hits from the 80s and 90s, fronted by singer-songwriter DELACRUZ. Between the two, you'll get a good stretch of reggae running through the afternoon, starting with the Spanish-language classics and moving into Don Rasta's set.

If you're planning to go, keep the timing in mind. Doors open at 2:30 PM, and the music runs from 3:00 to 5:30 PM, so it's a daytime affair rather than a late-night one. Dan Electro's is at 1031 E. 24th St. in Houston.
