A storytelling session for children of all ages presented by the Park Place Regional Library at the Houston Botanic Garden.
Park Place Regional Library is bringing its story-telling session out of the library and into the garden on Friday, October 16, at the Houston Botanic Garden. It's called Storytime in the Garden, and it's a 30-minute session that runs from 10:30 AM. The library usually keeps its storytime indoors, but for this series, they move the whole thing outside to the garden, and it's open to children of all ages, so it works whether you've got a toddler or a grade-schooler in tow.
This isn't a one-off, either. Storytime in the Garden is a recurring series that happens on the third Friday of each month, so if you miss this one, there'll be another a few weeks later. The garden holds these rain or shine, and they offer free parking for daytime events, which makes it easy to just show up and stay for a while after the reading is over.
