UK post-hardcore band Static Dress headline their US tour in support of the album 'Injury Episode', with support from Concealer.
Static Dress play White Oak Downstairs on Sunday, November 22, as part of their US headlining run. They're a UK four-piece — Sam Ogden, Olli Appleyard, Vincent Weight and George Holding — who have spent the last few years becoming one of the most talked-about names in the 2020s post-hardcore renaissance. The Houston date is one stop on a tour in support of injury episode, their sophomore album, which came out in May 2026 and has been called one of the year's best alternative LPs.
If you've followed them since their debut, injury episode is a shift. The band has gone out of its way to reject the nostalgia that often clings to post-hardcore, and they describe the record as a raw, unflinching evolution of the genre. It's less about looking back and more about pushing the sound forward, so the set will lean heavily on this new material.
This run is just one part of a busy year for them. Beyond these headlining shows, they've played intimate 'Panic Room' pop-ups and two support dates for Bring Me The Horizon, who were performing their debut album Count Your Blessings in full. They also toured North America as special guests of Motionless In White, so this is their first time taking the top of the bill on this side of the Atlantic.
