A spooky season walking tour of hidden haunts in downtown Houston, inviting visitors to explore, connect, laugh and hunt.
Spooky Season: Houston Downtown Hidden Haunts runs from Thursday, October 11, through Saturday, October 31, at Market Square Park. It's a walking tour of hidden haunts across downtown Houston, so you'll be on your feet and moving through the city rather than staying in one spot. The tour takes you past the spots that don't usually make it onto the standard maps, the kind of corners of downtown you'd probably walk right by if you weren't looking for them.
The organizers describe the experience as a way to "Explore. Connect. Laugh. Hunt." and to see the city in a completely different way. The "hunt" part of that is the core of it: you're out there actively searching for the haunts, not just following a guide. It's as much about the act of looking as it is about what you find.

Because it runs from October 11 through Halloween, you've got a few weeks to fit it in. The window is wide—Thursday morning through Saturday evening—so you can pick a day and time that works for you rather than having to clear a specific night. Tickets are $23.18, and the tour starts and ends at Market Square Park, right in the heart of downtown.
