Family movie night under the stars with a special screening of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice at Discovery Green.
Discovery Green is bringing Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to the outdoors on Saturday, October 17, as part of the Screen on the Green series presented by the Vivian L. Smith Foundation. It's a family movie night under the stars, with the 2024 sequel running one hour and 45 minutes and rated PG-13.
Screen on the Green is a series the Vivian L. Smith Foundation puts on to bring family movies outdoors to Discovery Green, one of Houston's parks. The screening takes place at the Anheuser-Busch Stage, a state-of-the-art outdoor concert venue with the downtown skyline as its backdrop, which can accommodate an oversized outdoor movie screen. The whole night is pitched as a movie under the stars: families are encouraged to bring blankets or camping chairs and snacks or a picnic, and costumes or PJs are strongly encouraged.
