Americana singer-songwriter Scott Allison performs with special guest Will Wright at the historic Dan Electros venue.
Scott Allison plays Dan Electro's on Wednesday, October 7, with Will Wright opening. Allison is an Americana singer-songwriter, and the night falls on the venue's Whiskey Wednesday.
If you're not already familiar with the room, Dan Electro's is a Heights bungalow that's been a listening room since 1988. It's one of Houston's most storied stages, and the list of names that have played there runs long: Greg Allman, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and even Richard Gere. It still hosts a weekly open Music Jam & Mixer, and the booking covers a wide mix of Texas country, rock, blues, jazz, and indie. The venue positions itself as an incubator for Houston musicians and keeps shows free to help grow the local scene.
