A club night presented by The Black Lesbian Network to celebrate Black lesbian joy, featuring DJs, vendors, and community activities.
Sapphic City: After Dark takes over 108 Main St on Saturday, October 10, from 10 PM to 2 AM. It's presented by The Black Lesbian Network, a nonprofit, and the night is tied to International Lesbian Day. The organizers describe it as a party with a purpose, a space to meet people, build community, and celebrate Black lesbian joy. They also point out that attending puts resources and support back into the community through the nonprofit's programs.
On the music side, DJ Ayoo and DJ 2cocky are on the decks, with Awakened hosting. The room is meant for talking, laughing, dancing, and flirting, and lesbian bingo is part of the mix. Vendors Cee Silky Smooth and Crazy B Wit Da Treats will be there, and The Capture Corner is sponsoring the event. It's 21+ (23+).
