Role Model performs live from their third album, Chuck On Tour, at the 713 Music Hall.
Role Model plays 713 Music Hall on Tuesday, October 6, as part of the Chuck On Tour run. It's a Houston stop on a tour that's taken the project across both the UK and the US, and the set is built around the new album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass.
If you've followed the project for a while, you've probably seen the 'Sally' dancers — a running gag that's become a bit of a signature for the live show. It's grown enough that Charli XCX actually stepped into the role on Saturday Night Live, so it's one of those things that's moved from an inside joke to something people outside the immediate circle recognize. That same energy has carried the project to some of the bigger festival stages, including Reading & Leeds.
This tour is the first time the new material is being played out in full, and since it's a headlining run, the set will lean heavily on Chuck Timely & The Hourglass while pulling in songs from the earlier records. It's the third album for the project, so there's a decent catalog to draw from.
