Roast Battle

Roast Battle comes to The Pink Flamingo Comedy Club on Saturday, October 17, and it's a different kind of comedy night. If you've never seen one, the format turns stand-up into a head-to-head sport: two comedians step up, trade jokes back and forth, and judges decide who walked away with the win. It's less about a polished set and more about who can land the better punchline in the moment.

The night is presented by The Pink Flamingo Comedy Club, which bills itself as Houston's newest comedy room. They book acts from all over the world alongside the best comedians in Texas, so the room brings in names from outside the city as well as local talent. The show runs for around two hours, so you'll get more than just one quick match.

One thing to keep in mind before you head out: this one is for ages 21 and over. If you're planning to go, make sure you've got your ID on you. The club is located at 1008 Prairie St, Houston, TX 77002, right in the downtown area.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show runs from 8 PM to 10 PM, so you've got plenty of time to grab a drink and settle in before the first round starts. Tickets are $19 to $25.
