RedRiverHTX - OU/TX Watch Party

RedRiverHTX is hosting a watch party for the Red River Rivalry at XO Sky Lounge & Restaurant on Saturday, October 10, starting at 1 PM. It's built for Oklahoma and Texas alumni, friends, and family to gather and cheer their team in person rather than watching from home. The game itself is the Red River Rivalry, one of college football's oldest and most storied matchups, pitting the Texas Longhorns against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The organizers are calling it "the ultimate Red River Showdown watch party," and the tagline "Where the River meets the Bayou!" puts the rivalry right here in Houston. It's a good excuse to get together with fellow fans and watch the game on a big screen with a crowd around you.

There's a charitable side to the afternoon, too. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the non-profit Breakfast Bros of Houston, and at halftime, two $1,000 scholarships are awarded. So, beyond the game, your ticket helps support a local cause.

Food and drinks are available for purchase throughout the day, and when it's time to head home, there's street parking and parking lots right outside the venue. Tickets are $1,000 for two, and the party kicks off at 1 PM on Saturday, October 10, at XO Sky Lounge & Restaurant.
