Hard rock band Pop Evil performs live at 713 Music Hall in Houston.
Pop Evil are playing 713 Music Hall on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The show starts at 7 PM, and the lineup is just the band themselves.
If you haven't come across them before, Pop Evil is a hard rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The current lineup features Leigh Kakaty on vocals, Blake Allison on drums, Joey Chicago Walser on bass, and Davey Grahs and Nick Fuelling on guitar. They're a five-piece, so there's a full rhythm section and two guitars on stage.
They talk about their sound in terms of where they come from, citing their blue-collar and middle-class backgrounds as the root of it. That translates into aggressive riffs paired with hard-charging sing-alongs, emotional heft, and melodic power. It's the kind of hard rock that leans into the big, open choruses you can sing along with, built around a heavy guitar foundation.
