PlantCon brings plant lovers, collectors, and growers together with hundreds of vendors, workshops, and presentations.
PlantCon is coming to Reliant Stadium on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, for a full weekend of plants, shopping, and community. It's a big gathering that brings together plant lovers, collectors, growers, and enthusiasts from across the region, so whether you've got a few pots on a windowsill or a whole room of greenery, you'll find your crowd here.
The main draw is the shopping. There are hundreds of vendors under one roof, which means you can browse a huge variety of plants in a single trip rather than driving all over town. You'll find rare and unique specimens that don't usually turn up at the local garden center, and there's a dedicated PlantCon merch table if you want to take home something specific to the event. It's the kind of place where you can spend hours just looking at what other people are growing.
Beyond the plants, there's an educational side to the weekend. Experts will be on hand for workshops and presentations, so you can pick up some actual advice on how to keep your collection alive rather than just guessing. Between the vendors and the sessions, it's as much about learning and talking shop with other growers as it is about bringing home new plants.
