Two days of professional bull riding action with 40 top riders facing some of the sport's fiercest bulls.
The PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour comes to the Toyota Center in Houston for two days of bull riding on Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20. It's the Professional Bull Riders' individual season, where the top riders in the sport go up against some of the fiercest bulls in the country. The tour has grown fast over the last decade, reaching fans in 95 cities and drawing more than 370,000 spectators in 2025, with 18 event days selling out.
It's more than just a standalone stop, too. The tour serves as a pathway to the big stage: the five Velocity Tour champion spots qualify riders for the PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast. The Houston stop is billed as two days of bucking action in which the sport's rankest bulls and toughest cowboys square off in what the tour calls "the most exciting and dangerous 8 seconds in sports."
Across the two days, 40 top riders compete in the initial rounds, and the ten riders with the highest aggregate scores ride for the event title. If you want to see the whole thing unfold from start to finish, there's a PBR Two-Day Package that gives you the same seat for both days.
