A hands-on pasta-making class where participants learn to make fresh pappardelle and linguine with CocuSocial at Lyric Market.
CocuSocial is hosting a pasta making class at Lyric Market on Wednesday, October 7, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It's a hands-on session where you'll learn to make fresh pappardelle and linguine from scratch, and you work in shared groups rather than on your own. All the ingredients and equipment are provided, so you just show up ready to get your hands floury.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Lyric Market opened in October 2022 and takes up an entire city block in Downtown Houston's Theater District. It's a food hall that houses nine food stalls and a bar, with a 7,500-square-foot deck, a communal plaza, a street-side terrace, and a private event space. The stalls include Dorado Sushi, Mexology, 1929 Po-Boy Kitchen, Press Waffle Co., Samurai Noodle, Kati Roll Wala, and Starbucks. At the center is the Lyric Bar, which serves house cocktails made with spirits distilled in Houston and beyond and hosts live jazz every Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM.
